Rosewood Baha Mar in the Bahamas will reopen on March 4, 2021 with a new restaurant led by chef Daniel Boulud. Café Boulud The Bahamas will offer traditional French cuisine and joins Rosewood Baha Mar’s other popular offerings, including Mexican-influenced Costa, relaxed beachside restaurant Tingum, and the Manor Bar.

Café Boulud—with sister restaurants in New York, Palm Beach, Toronto and The Berkshires—offers food inspired by Boulud’s four “culinary muses:” La Tradition highlights elevated French classics, La Saison emphasizes seasonal and local produce, Le Mer offers seafood specialties, and Le Voyage explores various world cuisines through French interpretations. To create the unique menu at Rosewood Baha Mar, Chef Daniel will be visiting the resort to meet with local producers, fishermen and suppliers to ensure the menu reflects the destination and matches the seasonality of the Caribbean.

The menu at the new Bahamas restaurant will include popular dishes found at Chef Boulud’s other restaurants, as well as local vegetables and seafood like rock lobster, salt fish, conch ceviche, red snapper and cochon de lait. One of Chef Daniel’s signature dishes is the Paupiette of Sea Bass, which will be given a local interpretation.
